Surprisingly, Mama’s Cafe is just one of a small-yet-diverse array of San Antonio restaurants owned by one local and big-hearted family.  Longtime stewards of quality local restaurants for over 50 years, they’ve dabbled in a wide assortment of cuisines.  Mama’s Cafe is one of scratch-made “family-owned homestyle comfort food” that tastes heavenly and won’t carb you up or jack your cholesterol.
