Located in a strip mall just off of the Soutbound I-10 access road on De Zavala road sits Tiger’s Chinese Cuisine, a small family-owned Chinese restaurant. It’s among one of many restaurants in the shopping center, but it has strategically placed itself as a premium destination for great Chinese food with plenty of great options for those with dietary restrictions.

Preface: As you will see in the following review, our experience here on the date visited was mixed, and in some important ways, less-than-stellar. Based on information gathered on other review sites, this seems to be a complete fluke. While we have shared our experience in all its stark detail, we suspect that on any other day things would have been very different and will give an updated review on a later date.
Situated just off of Highway 281 in the Galleria Oaks shopping center just outside of Hollywood Park is Purple Garlic Italian Cafe, featuring many classical Italian offerings. While relatively new to the scene, the restaurant has cemented its spot in the Italian food segment of the San Antonio dining scene.

El Chaparral is a well-established fixture in the San Antonio dining scene, having been around for over 50 years! Though arising from modest beginnings, today the restaurant has won many awards and boasts three locations. For this review, we went to the San Antonio location on East Loop 1604.

Bunz Handcrafted Burgers is a fun, bright, cheery burger joint that takes your staple American hand-patted burger and offers multiple customization options, from the classic to the eclectic. There are 2 locations, and they do have different menus, providing 2 unique experiences. So far, we’ve only been to this location, and it was such a great experience that we’ll definitely be making the trip downtown to the other!

El Camino is an outdoor bar and food truck park located on Avenue B near the river in downtown San Antonio, TX. While they don’t actually have their own food truck, they feature multiple food vendors in one convenient location for your dining pleasure.
Texas Bite & Sip
