Fiesta Winery is a mainstay in the Texas Hill Country wine scene, and for very good reason. With a wide range of wine offerings from bone dry to decadently sweet, these folks have you covered. They have four tasting rooms – Fredericksburg Main Street, Fredericksburg 290, the Winery & Vineyard in Bend, and Marble Falls. For the purposes of this review, we visited the Fredericksburg 290 tasting room.

Pluckers Wing Bar has cemented itself as a premier location for wings and things in Texas. What started from humble beginnings has grown into a bit of a small empire, and as we discovered, for very good reason! For the purposes of this review, we visited the San Antonio I-10 location.

Established in 2013, Blanco BBQ has cemented its rightful place in the San Antonio barbecue scene. Located on upper/middle Blanco road in between the Deerfield and Churchill neighborhoods, it has become a fixture and you just can’t miss it as you drive by.

Rome’s Pizza is a single-location, down-home pizzeria located West of I-10 on De Zavala road in San Antonio. It’s in an ethnic strip mall sporting several eclectic restaurants, so it feels right at home in its little area. It’s a staple in the San Antonio pizza/Italian segment, and as we found out, for very good reason!
